Happiness is not going to show up at your door in a big banana suit when you get any of these things.
When you get there, you may be happy for a bit. but inevitably you will just find something else to strive for. Happiness is not the natural result of success.
Just look at all of the “successful people” who have proven this again and again with stories of substance abuse, depression, and suicide. Life’s baggage does not discriminate between rich or poor, successful or lazy.
The only way to feel happier is to learn how to carry your baggage better.
