I’m a writer, inspirational speaker, researcher, mother, and the founder of Inspiring Mama. I help moms live happier by connecting them with the people, ideas, and tools they can use to create the life they want.
I founded Inspiring Mama because I believe that my life, and the lives of other moms, can feel easier and more peaceful. I believe that it is possible to actually feel more joy, more gratitude, and more aliveness than we do right now. I believe that it is possible to live a life where the thought “I love my life” occurs to us spontaneously at least once a day. I don’t know exactly how yet. But I’m on a mission to figure it out.
Inspiring Mama is my search for solutions to the emotional and physical challenges of motherhood.
Before Inspiring Mama, I founded the blog Happy New Mamas, where I explored the transition between pregnancy and motherhood and my experiences with various solutions to my own stress and anxiety.
I also practiced law in California for seven years. In 2011 I left law practice and founded my first business, Mind Over Bar, an online course that helps law students conquer test anxiety and mentally prepare for the bar exam.
In my spare time if I’m not hiking or otherwise outdoors I’m a singer songwriter and beginning guitar player. I grew up riding Arabian horses so I lease a horse near my house in Marin County, CA and train at a local kickboxing gym.
